This board is made of 100% English oak. This wood is characterized by high hardness and density. Oak is very resistant to moisture (this type of wood is most often used to make barrels for alcohol), making it ideal for cutting boards. We only use wood from legal sources, from certified suppliers, exclusively from first-class (the best) sawn timber. Only this class guarantees the highest quality wood, without defects and with the right moisture content.

This is because the micro-tubes that nourish the tree run from the bottom to the top of the trunk. By placing them in this position on the cutting board, we ensure that the blades of knives/hatchets “slide” between these micro tubes without leaving visible marks on the board surface.
